What personality traits do you admire the most?
One half hour before it's "legal" Thursday lol.. I'm getting the question in as promised whew. Well, guess if you're on the East coast I'm late.
My answer: Honesty, loyalty, Truthfulness (nope not exactly the same as honesty to me) Loving unconditionally. Not being judgmental. I think most important to me is being yourself... not allowing other's to change who you are.

Honesty is most important to me. I would rather have someone tell me the absolute truth even it it tears me apart than to find out that they are telling me one thing and everyone else something else. I also think that loyalty and a good attitude is important. I mean simply that there is no one out there that will make me happy. That's something I have to make up my mind about. Either I will be happy because that's what I want or I will be miserable by concentrating on every ill that has ever happened to me. I also think it is important to have an open mind and the ability to forgive. I should qualify that last remark. I know people who hurt others in order to make themselves look more desireable. I might forgive them their behavior because this is how they are, but I don't need to give them a second, third or fourth chance to hurt again. On the other hand, we all make mistakes and we all spread our fair share of ill will, even if only by accident. I can't hold a mistake against an honest individual.

I hate when someone lies to my face I would prefer being told the truth no matter how bad it was but I don't like to be lied to.
Faith,
Because you just got to have faith in the unknown to go on.
Promises,
Because if someone can't kept their promise then they no good thats why i always try to keep mine.
And most importantly love,
For with the world in the shape its in all it will take is love in everyone no matter the race, sex, and whatever other difference to make it a better place.

I can see from the other comments that I interpreted this question a little differently than most people but I'm going to go with it. I admire people who are not afraid to speak their mind despite the possibility of being criticized and judged by others. That doesn't mean I always like the people in question but I admire their ability to say what they feel. If I have an opinion which goes against what I know to be the accepted norm I tend to keep it to myself.
i admire those too...and of coarse, a great sense of humor!

SOMEONE WHO DOESN'T BITE THERE TONGUE THAT SPEAKS UP, SOMEONE WHO IS STRONGHEADED AND STANDS THERE GROUND.
