What was your favorite TV show as a child? What is it now?
I swear we did this question already, and maybe we did. A couple of times I've put the slip back in the jar by mistake but caught myself right away. I am having some problems with my computer freezing up and can't find my journal jar notebook so I can't look back on this. Guess if we did this question already.. Well, what a wonderful opportunity to revisit it LOL.
I didn't watch too much. I remember cartoons being my favorite thing to watch. I really can't remember which ones I liked. I know I loved Sesame Street. I preferred being outside more then watching TV.
Now I like Dog the Bounty Hunter and Big brother.

Hmm, lemme think. As a child, Smurfs? Dang, I can't remember anything else at the moment, so it had to be Smurfs. Now, AI of course, then Lost, The Apprentice, Wil and Grace...I'll stop now.
I loved the original Star Trek series (and even wrote a fan letter which was included in a nationally published book, even though the series was long over and being aired in reruns). I also liked "The Monkees", "Welcome Back, Kotter", "Good Times", "Happy Days" and "Laverne & Shirley". In my teen years, I loved "CHiPs" and "Dukes of Hazzard". Now? I love "ER", "Crossing Jordan", "Law & Order -Criminal Intent and SVU", "Cold Case Files" and "American Justice". I love and miss "Sex and the City" GREATLY!!!! I only keep HBO because they show the reruns and I don't like the "edited for tv" reruns on TBS. That, overall, is and was probably an all-time favorite for me and I can watch the reruns over and over again and not get bored. Sheila
Gosh there were a lot of them I loved to watch when I wasn't outside, which was never. I honestly don't remember watching a whole bunch of TV when I was little but rather as I got in my teen years. I did like All in the Family, The Mary Tyler Moore Show, Rhoda, Kate and Allie, Rosanne and the list goes on and on but those are the few that "stand out" in my head. Now I like Vegas, Desperate Housewives, ER and the comedies on channel 4.
As a child ?? Thats easy. The Brady Bunch and the Partridge Family.
I have found and purchased their musical cds as well.

the pj's that was the show it was a an animated show wit i think eddi murphy and i miss it. now i watch anything from cookin to decorating, csi all of that.
I MUST ADMIT I AM SUCKERED BY ONE "REALITY" SHOW I`VE SEEN EVERY SURVIVOR SINCE DAY ONE.....ALSO ER.....AND UNTIL LAST YEAR FRIENDS....WHICH IS FUNNY CUZ IT`S J-LAND FRIENDS LIKE YOU WHO MAKE MY JOURNALING LIFE SO MUCH BETTER THANKS AGAIN FOR HELPING WITH THE LINK.......WHEN I WAS A KID.........I WATCHED EVERYTHING....BUT MAYBE DUKES OF HAZZARD WOULD BE MY CHOICE ALTHOUGH THE REMAKE LOOKS LESS THAN APPEALING!

When I was a child my favorite shows were Star Trek (the original series), the Dick Van Dyke Show and the Bugs Bunny and Road Runner Show. Okay, I'm old. My favorite shows now are CSI, Crossing Jordan, American Idol, Extreme Makeover, Home Edition.

favorite tv show as a kid- brady bunch, little house on the prarie, love boat, fantasy island and dukes of hazzard!! as an adult- i only watch one show regularly- that is ER, but i do watch survivor when it is on and i enjoy home improvment shows too. i have really grown to resent tv- i see the pull it has on my kids and my spouse- it really robs people of precious time in their lives- i dont want to look back at the end of my life and say- jeez, maybe i should have spent more time doing things with my kids, or being outside, by i can recall every episode of blah blah blah series- ok that's my soapbox!!

Hello to everyone. I'm new to the journal jar and love what I see and read so far. My favorite shows as a kid had to be the Cosby show, and Fragle Rock ( I know total eighties). Now I'm a huge fan of the new show "Grey's Anatomy" and still follow "Friends" like it never went off the air.
Promise I just wanted to let you know you aren't crazy....question 20 was similar to this one but not exactly the same...It started off with What do you think of TV and then asked about some of your favorites...which is why you probably hit this one already.
