Question 40 ~ Lets eat!

Where do you eat out and what do you order?

Well, I don't have just one place I like to eat.  It usually depends on my mood.  I will crave seafood, and depending on what, like if it's shrimp there is this great place downtown called the Criteria (sp?) that I love.  If it's crab legs then it's Joe's crab shack.  If I want a streak, I love going to this place called the steak house, or cattle company.  So it's always different depending on what I'm hungry for.  Also if someone asks me out and wants something different or wants to take me to a certain place then the choice is that persons.  I know some people that have one place they always go to, that's just not who I am.  I like to go where my stomach wants to go. I don't eat out much anymore for many different reason.

If cost is no object:  Applebee's.  The House Sirloin is the best.  So is the caramel cheesecake!!!

Family style:  Love to go to Denny's for breakfasts - what I order varies between an egg type breakfast or their french toast.

Desserts - Baker's Square and the French Silk is the best!

Thanks - now I'm hungry again!  Sheila

God, what don't I eat and where don't I eat would be easier to answer, but okay let me try:

Red Lobster

Crab Alfredo
CheddarBay Biscuits
House Salad with french dressing
baked potato with sour cream and butter
brocoli
seafood artichoke spinach dip with tortillas
crab legs
lobster pizza
lobster tail
shrimp scampi
steak
fried clams
seafood/cheese  fiesta rolls

yeah I think I covered all of it.

i love to go out for dinner- there are so many neat places and i love all types of food- my favorite is probably mexican, there is a little local authentic mexican retaurant in a nearby town that is the best- we eat there as a family at least a couple times a month. my favorite restaurants are usually the "mom and pop" kinda places- good home cooking- not the chain restaurants. it is always great fun to combine travel- another one of my favorite passions- with the search for new favorite places to eat!!! every time i am in a hotel i ask the desk clerk where to head for dinner- usually they will give you the local favorite where you can get some good food when you dont know the area. there's no way i could list my favorite dishes- there's too many!!!

It`s hard to beat a good steak and bake potato, of course I like my bacon cheeseburgers too(the redder the meat the better) hehehe!! We have a little mexican restraunt that makes its own salsa and chips .....heaven on earth......throw in a Corona or BUD BOTTLE and the combo plate....oh ya!!  lol When I graduated high school I weghed 145......I just recently weighed in at 204...can`t imagine why?     I live in a little town where there is a big Hispanic population as well as a large Italian population. When we eat out, usually here in town, we go to either a Mexican restuarant, Italian or Greek. Recently an Egyptian gentleman opened a restaurant that serves Mediterrian food. I think I'm in love. I mean I never eat things like hummus before. Also, where I love Italian food, I used to work at a Little Caesar's. I can't stand the smell or taste or look of pizza anymore. And that's a shame. Chicago is the pizza capitol of the U.S.

I agree with you. I go where my stomach takes me. I have been very fortunate to have traveled all over. And I always try the local favorite resteraunts.
I love variety. One night I could go for a 7 course elegant dinner in a fancy resteraunt, then the next night, have sub sandwiches at a shopping mall.
I just love to try all kinds of food.
There are alot of good places to eat in Newyork, Chicago, and LA.

I have a new favorite restaurant, it is Country Tavern!!!  They have the coolest patio to eat on and they have all kinds of foods, mostly barbecue but they have burgers, steaks, all kinds of stuff.  Love it.  I usually order either a steak or hamburger but the hamburgers are giant so you can't eat all of one so it is actually two meals.

I don't eat out much anymore, but when I do go, if I am going somewhere here in town, it has to be this place called the Stagecoach. It is all homecooked meals, and cheap prices. The only bad thing is that they give you HUGE portions. If I am willing to drive a little further, I go to Ryans' which is a buffet about 30 minutes from here, or the El Ricon, which is a Mexican restaurant also about 30 minutes from here. If I want steak, it absolutely has to be The Outback, but due to prices, I don't get there much. For sea food, it used to be the Stone Crab Inn, but they closed it down.    :(
Well, there you have it.
