Welcome

Welcome to the journal jar!  I will get started on this tomorrow or later today with the first question.  If you plan to participate with me.  Leave a link now so I can link you up with this journal.  Also when you write your entry leave me a link to it on that day.

I'm pretty excited about this... this should be a lot of fun.  I am going to write my entries in a notebook then copy them on here.  Just in case... you never know what will happen to anything online.  So I think a hard copy will be a good idea to keep also.

Let's tell our stories

Oh Wow, I am definitely in!! I have always considered having a second journal, but without enough material, I never wanted to start something (don't like to do things half-assed) but this sounds like a great, GREAT, idea for a second journal!! Sorry, I didn't see this sooner because of alerts being down. But I am thinking of starting a journal jar journal of my own, and when I do I will catch up and give you the link. Thanks SO MUCH for sharing this with us!! Wow!!

Love,
Danielle

I woke up this stormy Easter Sunday morning (March 27, 2005) and decided to  cancel plans I had to go to the Sunrise Service due to the weather. Felt really blessed when I luckily found this site.  I have prayed for something like this as I don't have much time to go to Writer's Workshops etc.  I am 68 years old, still work at a public elementary school and enjoy it very much. I am the secretary/bookkeeper for the school.  I have written several articles that have been published in this small town newspaper.  Originally from South Georgia we now live in the country 30 miles south of Atlanta.   I am a country girl by birth and choice as an adult.  I believe in living simple and helping others. Would love to share my writing journals with you. May I please join?  Kindest regards, Bonnie near Atlanta

Email: Mollie1107@aol.com

Thanks and have a wonderful Easter Day.

This is a great idea!  ( the journal jar) Especially on those days that you want to write in your journal and can't think of anything substantial to write about. :o) These questions are always so interesting and make a good read for anyone following your journal.

I just stumbled across this Journal, and thought it would be a fun idea for my new journal. Everyone please stop by and check it out. You will also find links to my other two journals. One is a quote of the day that I do, and the other is a journal of my poetry. I would appreciate any feedback that anyone has to offer on any of my journals.
Thanks,

Hello...Love your Journal Jar idea, I am new and I have been reading a lot of journals and leaving a message here and there. It's very interesting that all our lives seem to intermingle in so many ways...some are up and some are down but they are all wonderful. Thanks again "Big Hugs" Mary

I have run across others answers to your questions and I was curious as to how it got started.  A very cool idea.  Sorry to hear that things in your personal life are not going well, but I think what you have started is a great thing.  I am starting today!  Also, too bad about the person who is trying to take over the jar... very rude indeed!  I'm not sure if I should send you a comment everytime I post a jar Q and A or just this first one.  Keep your chin up!
