where did all my graphics go????? AHHHHHHHHHHHHH

well ..

Isn't this nice! back to Blogger.. sort of pushed huh?
I've been gone for awhile and came back in time. Just a few weeks in time but I guess there was a reason for my return lol.

So will I need to make this private? I have forgotten so much how to use this blog service it will once again take some getting used to. I haven't really decided if I'm going to keep blogging but at least the option is here .. I fear a crap storm but we can't keep hiding from the crap I guess. No I wasn't hiding I was living, loving, learning.. hehe.

Glad I did come back though so I didn't lose my stuff.

Gone but not forgotten

I deleted my last entry as I am bringing this journal back public and I don't care of the negative crap to be in here. I will leave that for my private journal.  I am not ready yet to begin the questions again but figured I'd give everyone a heads up that I'm back up and am going public again!

How do you feel about school?

 

OMG before I answer this.. I noticed written on this slip "it sux d*ck" guess someone here hates school! LOL

Well, when I was in Ele, middle and High school.. my feelings were all different.

Until Middle school I didn't mind it.. then I hated having to get up so early.  High school changed a bit.. I had activities I belonged to and lots of fun friends.  Did I study hard ... NO I swear I thought school was just a social gathering.  I did quit in 11th grade and go on to get my GED. I then attended college... and for awhile that was enough. 

A few years ago I went back to college to become a paralegal but my funding got pulled so I had to give that up.  I worked my butt off to get A's and excelled.. only to have that dang rug pulled out.   I went back again only to have another problem so I ended up leaving again. I then thought maybe a paralegal isn't what God wants of me...

Sometimes...I wish I had paid more attention in school...  At times I wish I hadn't quit but I think it all happened for a reason and this was my path.

Tell about your favorite uncle:

Well.. I don't really have a favorite.  All my uncle were/are special in one way or another. I never really got close to any of them when I was young.  I was closer to my aunts. 

I do have a second cousin who is much older then I.. and I call him my uncle as that's sort of the role he has always played.  Him, of all the uncle would be my favorite. Mostly because I am closest to him.  We have this weird thing we do at Christmas.  I have no idea how it started or who started it.. but when we send each other Christmas cards we always send each other odd things.  He once sent me a sew on patch that said "da bomb". I've sent him bratz stickers and stuff like that.  It's always funny.  One time I was sending out cards and my son's point sheet (he was in a special ed school that sent point sheets home everyday .. it would give him points for each subject and behaviors and there would be notes regarding how well he behaved. Parents had to sign it and return them each day) this one was on the table as it was Christmas break that needed to be returned his first day back after break... I accidentally sent it in my "uncles" card.  At first I didn't know it.. I was looking all over for it when school was going to start again... as my son would get written up for not returning them.  Then a day or two before school started I got a call.. it was him saying "okay I just don't get this joke?"  I said I hadn't sent anything that year .. he then told me about the point sheet.  LOL  I had to explain to the school so my son wouldn't get in trouble for it.  They laughed.

My uncle "F" is sort of the black sheep of the family (as I was) so we had so much in common... yes he was loved but lived a life not up to the expectations of other family members (as it was with me)  So we had that common bond.. which grew.  He always has my back... he was always calling saying "do you need a joke" and would tell the worse jokes in the world.. which I would laugh at completely.. not because they were funny but because they were SO awful!  He is a good guy all around.  Cares about other's .. never judges anyone.  I really believe people that are judged themselves learn not to judge others as you just can't judge a book by it's cover.

Spot light

I thought I would at least do my weekly spot light.  I am doing it on Friday as I don't know how much time I will be online this weekend.  And since I took the week off of this journal I should do it now...

So here it is:

                  

I'm doing a graphics theme.. I don't often do themes but as you all must know by now I love tags and how talented so many are in Jland.  A talent I don't have so when someone else has talent I love to show it off...

The first one is Cherry's. I've been reading her journals for a long time now. I just love this girl.  She's funny and smart and I love her opinions.  She's amazing to me. Wise way beyond her years... she's offered me advice that I have taken and has helped me so much! Then I found out she does graphics and fell in love with them.  She's very good at this.. I had no clue (yes Cherry you surprised me not that I didn't think you could do it but I didn't know you WERE doing these)

The next one I'm crazy about is one that another artist shared with me... that's how I found her. Now I don't know much about her personally yet, but I love her work. She was another breath of fresh air. She does great work... she's unique and I love the way she does her's.

The last one is someone I've known for awhile.. probably since I began writing and found Jland.  She is a good friend who is such a fire cracker (my granny uses that word a lot) she says what she means I'm telling you! She means so much to me... I can't explain it.. I'm so happy she is back in Jland and she's going to have a baby!!!! I love her work.. I also didn't know she did these.  It's amazing what she can do. I love this woman but that is not the only reason I picked her graphic journal ... she does very good work also.

There three amazing talented women that not only do these things for other's but are such good people!  Check them out.  I admire them so much!  You are all wonderful women that I care much about.
